Habeo Group emerges as a new significant provider of technical building services
Habeo Group Oy (Habeo) is a new provider of technical building services, offering smaller renovation and restoration jobs in addition to technical building services. The Group was established when eight successful, regionally operating companies joined Habeo. At the initial stage, the Group will be comprised of Afire Oy, ESP Group, HSK Sähkö Oy, Neloset Group, Respect Project Oy, SFT Finntekniikka Oy, Sähkö Oy Turku, and Vaasan Kylmäkone Oy. The Group operates nationwide in Finland.
The revenue of the new Group is approximately EUR 120 million in total (pro forma 2021), and the Group employs some 600 technical building services professionals. Kari Kohvakka (previous employers include Sumitomo SHI FW, Amec Foster Wheeler and Maintpartner Oy) acts as the CEO and Antti Heinola (previous employers include Kreate Group Plc, Caverion Corporation ja YIT Corporation) as the CFO of the Group’s parent company Habeo Group Oy. The Chairman of Habeo Group’s Board of Directors is Kari Kauniskangas and the Board members are Mikael Aro, Sara Damberg and Per Frankling. The establishment and financing of the new Group is supported by the international private equity firm Triton.

Habeo Group’s services cover the following areas: heating, plumbing and sewerage, ventilation and air conditioning, electrical works, cooling and refrigeration, fire safety and automation. In addition, the company carries out smaller renovation and repair jobs that have technical building services in a key role. The foundation of the Group’s operations is formed by the companies’ shared values: entrepreneurial spirit, focus on solutions, collaboration and caring.
